Sequences
Sequences is the manageable way for you to drive a brand new Hyundai every two or three years. It has a number of original benefits:
- We guarantee the buy-back price when you part exchange your Hyundai
- You defer part of the cost of the car to keep your monthly payments low
- Low payments mean you can afford a higher specification car
- Two or three-year terms let you change your car more often
- You have more flexibility with your finances
- Your banking and credit options are left open
- Your savings are left untouched
- You can take your employer's 'cash for company car' option
How does it work?
Sequences is different from other forms of finance because of the Guaranteed Minimum End Value (GMEV) we give to all our cars. The GMEV is a conservative estimate of the value of a Hyundai car after two or three years, provided that its mileage and condition remain within certain preset boundaries.
We take the GMEV and the value of your deposit and subtract them from the price of your car. Your monthly payments are then based on the balance, plus the cost of borrowing. Your payments are smaller because you are not paying for the entire cost of the car.
At the end of the agreement you simply choose the option that best suits you:
- Keep the car. Simply pay the GMEV, and the car is yours.
- Change the car. If the trade-in value is greater than the GMEV, you can use this sum as the deposit on your next Sequences agreement and drive away in a new Hyundai.
- Return the car. Give the car back to your Hyundai dealer, incurring no further costs, subject to its condition and mileage
Hire purchase
Traditional hire purchase is the simple way to spread the cost of buying a new Hyundai. You simply pay a deposit and then make regular monthly repayments over an agreed period. At the end of the period you make a final payment, which includes a £60 option to purchase fee, and the car is yours to keep.
You can choose how much to pay depending on your budget. Because the interest rate is fixed at the beginning of your agreement, your payments are fixed, making budgeting easy.
You can choose the term of your agreement with the flexibility of any period between 12 and 60 months. Once the final payment has been made, it is your decision to keep the car, sell it or part exchange for a new Hyundai.
